VIP Discounts provides members with access to special pricing, discounts and benefits from participating retailers, suppliers, trades and service providers (“VIP Partners”).
The following conditions apply to VIP Partner offers unless different conditions are displayed on the individual Partner offer.
1Discounts May Vary
VIP Discounts and offers may vary between Partners and between individual products, brands, categories and services.
Where an offer is advertised as “up to” a particular percentage off, the maximum discount applies only to eligible products, brands or services.
For example, a Partner offering “up to 20% off” may provide:
- 20% off selected brands or products;
- 15% off another brand or product range;
- a different discount on selected categories; or
- special VIP member pricing instead of a percentage discount.
The maximum advertised discount does not necessarily apply to every product or service offered by that Partner.
2Sale & Promotional Items
VIP discounts may not always be used in conjunction with existing sales, promotions, clearance pricing or other special offers.
Depending on the Partner and promotion, members may receive:
- the VIP member price;
- the advertised sale price;
- an additional VIP discount;
- a reduced discount on the sale price; or
- the better available price.
The individual VIP Partner determines how its member offer applies to sale and promotional items.
3Exclusions
Certain products, brands, services or transactions may be excluded from a Partner's VIP offer.
Exclusions may include selected brands, clearance products, already heavily discounted items, special orders, package deals or other products or services nominated by the Partner.
Where practical, important exclusions will be displayed with the Partner's offer.
Members should confirm eligibility before completing a purchase.
4Member Pricing
VIP member pricing may be based on:
- a percentage discount;
- preferred pricing;
- trade-style pricing;
- a fixed member price;
- a special package;
- a member credit;
- a complimentary upgrade; or
- another benefit negotiated with the Partner.
Not every VIP offer will therefore be expressed as a percentage discount.
5Service Provider Offers
Some VIP Partners provide services rather than physical products.
Service Partner benefits may include discounted services, member pricing, complimentary upgrades, reduced fees, credits or other benefits.
The actual price of services may depend on the individual project, scope of work, site conditions, location, product selections and other requirements.
Any quotation or contract for services is between the member and the relevant service provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
6How to Claim Your VIP Benefit
Members must follow the redemption instructions shown for each VIP Partner.
You may be required to:
- show your VIP membership;
- provide your membership details;
- use a VIP code or link;
- contact a nominated representative;
- visit a participating location; or
- identify yourself as a VIP Discounts member before requesting a quote or making a purchase.
Always identify yourself as a VIP Discounts member before purchasing or accepting a quote.
VIP discounts generally cannot be applied retrospectively after a transaction has been completed.
7Participating Locations
Some Partner offers may only be available at selected stores, locations, websites or through nominated representatives.
Participation may vary between independently operated stores or franchises.
Check the individual Partner offer before purchasing.
8Offers May Change
VIP Discounts is continually developing its Partner network.
Partners may update their discounts, products, services, exclusions or offer conditions from time to time.
Partners may also join or leave the VIP Discounts network.
We will endeavour to keep current Partner information available through the VIP Discounts website or member area.
9Pricing
VIP Discounts aims to provide members with access to valuable pricing and benefits.
However, VIP Discounts does not guarantee that a member price will always be the lowest price available anywhere in the market.
Retail sales, clearance events, competitor promotions and individually negotiated prices may occasionally result in different pricing.
10Purchases Are With the Partner
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products and services are purchased directly from the relevant VIP Partner.
The Partner is responsible for the products or services it supplies, including applicable warranties, delivery, installation, returns, refunds and workmanship.
The Partner's own terms and conditions may also apply.
Nothing in these conditions excludes any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
